Course Description and Job Descriptions

The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program trains the student to use a diagnostic medical sonogram. The sonogram images the abdomen, OB/GYN and vascular areas. This program is taught in six levels. Each level must be completed successfully before continuing on to the next level.

The Vocational Nursing program provides classes in theory and practice that enables a student to learn entry-level vocational nursing. These classes also prepare students to take the NCLX-PN test.

The Surgical Technician assists surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures. This class prepares the student in assisting surgeons and nurses during surgeries as well as teaches skills to provide excellent patient care.

A Medical Assistant assists the doctor perform basic tests and procedures in a doctor’s office. The Medical Assistant’s program provides the training necessary to assist in a medical office.
